In order to better serve our clients, Broz Insurance Agency, Inc. strives to utilize the latest in automation technology to ensure that our clients get the best service possible. If you’d like, we can now send change confirmations and other communications to you via email.

Credit Scoring
Most insurance companies use credit scoring as an underwriting tool. Protecting your credit rating is one way to keep your insurance rates as low as possible.

INSURANCE POLICY REMINDERS

Check with us about these and many other optional coverages available:

Auto

  • Towing Reimbursement Coverage
  • Rental Reimbursement Coverage – Reimburses you if your car is involved in a covered incident should you need a replacement vehicle.
  • Lease/Loan Gap Endorsement – Coverage that pays the difference between what you owe to your bank and the actual cash value of your vehicle. This coverage is usually only available on new vehicles at the time you add them to your auto policy.

Homeowners

  • Earthquake – Not automatically included on a homeowner policy, coverage must be added by endorsement.
  • All Risk Coverage on Personal Property – This endorsement upgrades the coverage on your personal property from “Named Peril” to “All Risk”, subject to policy exclusions.
  • Backup of Sewers and Drains – This coverage is not automatic, it must be added by endorsement to your policy. If you have a finished basement, we really recommend this.
  • Flood Insurance – Flood is never covered on a homeowner policy. This coverage must be purchased separately.
  • Valuable Property Schedules – There are limits on certain valuable items that you may own. Scheduling your jewelry and other valuables will insure your property for all risk coverage worldwide.

Insure your home to value! Notify us of any improvements or additions to your home.

Not all insurance companies cover vicious dog and trampoline risks anymore. If you have a liability exposure that you’re not sure of, please call us and we’ll let you know if your carrier excludes these risks.

Due to today’s insurance climate, many insurance companies will cancel your homeowner policy if two or more claims are filed within a three-year period. If this happens, you might be forced to insure your home through the State of Ohio. For this reason, we recommend that you carry higher deductibles.
